Dr. Andy Han, a distinguished professional, earned his summa cum laude distinction from the University of Pennsylvania before obtaining his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge led him to a postdoctoral research year at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Campochiaro, a prominent figure in the retina field.
He completed his ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at USC Roski Eye Institute, Dr. Han received a notable “Resident Teaching Award for Clinical Fellow.” During his fellowship, he trained under the esteemed Dr. David Boyer and colleagues at the Retina-Vitreous Associates of Los Angeles.
Dr. Han is a dedicated researcher who has published several articles in ophthalmology journals and presented his findings at national conferences. Proficient in medical Spanish, he continues to expand his language skills, currently dedicating time to enhance his proficiency in Korean.
